Utopianism

I’ve not been blogging much lately. I’d say I’ve been busy, but I haven’t been - I’ve just not really been in the mood to do much. I hardly left the house the past few weeks - stayed at home cleaning, doing laundry, cooking dinner… yes, COOKING. And the apartment is still standing. :) Since my boyfriend and I moved into this apartment, I haven’t paid one single bill. And we moved in around November. Not because I don’t want to help, I just haven’t had the money. So I figured I’d make the best of it and at least try to be a decent housewife.

Today was my first day of classes this semester, and I think I’m really going to enjoy all of them! Organic Chemistry II, Animal Physiology, Intro to Philosophy, and Principles of Sociology. That being said - I FINALLY got to socialize some today. Over Christmas break, everyone went back home, and I’ve been stuck in Owensboro. It was nice to hang out with people again!

My dad’s chemo seems to be working well. The tumors have shrunk - and now that I’m thinking about it, I believe he’s finishing his last round this week… He’s going somewhere soon to do some more testing on it. I can tell he’s feeling much better.

And, I’m doing pretty good myself.
